Getting around Favignana

Why a bike, not a car

The island is small and mostly flat. A bike gets you to the town, the Lido Burrone sandy beach, and anywhere else on land. Parking in the town centre is tight in summer (part of a ZTL), and a €20–30 daily car rental is not worth it for what is a 1–2 hour spin around. Bike shops cluster at the ferry port; rent one the moment you arrive.
