About Favignana Boat Tour

Favignana Boat Tour is an independent guide to boat tours around Favignana and the Egadi Islands — an independent comparison site to help you pick the right boat and book it on GetYourGuide.

Who I am

I’m Rosario Adamo. I was born on Favignana; my grandfather worked the tonnara (the tuna trap) under the Florio company, and I spent my twenties as a deckhand on the Trapani–Egadi boats before writing about the islands. I know which skipper actually stops for swimming and which cove runs calm when the scirocco blows. I’ve lived the boats and the water; I write what I actually know.

What this site does

Favignana is an island you have to see from the water. Its famous coves — Cala Rossa, Cala Azzurra, Bue Marino — are old tufa quarries and sea caves with almost no road access. The real traveller question isn’t “should I go” but which boat tour: the €42 big-group mini-cruise, the day trip from Palermo, the small-group RIB, or a private charter. This site compares the tours so you can book the right one at the right price.

How I’m funded

I earn a small affiliate commission when you book through my links on this site, at no extra cost to you. That’s what keeps this guide free. It never changes which tours I recommend — I recommend tours based on ratings, reviews, and what I think suits each visitor, not on commission. Read the affiliate disclosure for the full picture.
